WTF, Papa??

Two years ago I was thrilled to post this message regarding my friend's brother (both of whom I have known since high school)...Nick had been hit by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle. It was a miracle he lived.


This is Nick Drake. He is at home recovering from his injuries. Thanks again to everyone who prayed for him!

On Wednesday morning , Nick was hit and killed by an SUV. I don't get it...I hate it...My heart aches for his sister who has no family left. I trust Papa God with all my heart. I know that He did not cause this to happen, will it or any such nonsense. I know that He works all things together for good and every other platitude that exists that is truth...But right now all I can say is WTF??

Please pray for Kimmie.

Sozo Conference '08

This gets a big Dan WWWWWOOWWWW... What a weekend! It was awesome, it was awful, it was amazing and it was a wild ride! Talk about a roller coaster. But I learned a lot and grew a lot and I am still processing. The Sozo folks from Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. are gifted teachers and administers of emotional/spiritual healing. I went on Friday to be in the "hot seat" for a Sozo with somoene from the Bethel team. This was good because it gave me a chance to see them in action. I was able to observe how they work, see what I did and did not like in how they did things and decide what to do and not do when we are ministering here. It was very confirming to see that they work very similarly to how we do on our Sozo team. YAY! And now, a few pictures from the trip. First of all, I needed a travelling companion.
