Baby Pictures

My baby is all grown up into an awkward adolescent...At 22 years old, she is a bit delayed I realize, but consider its mama! I speak of the story that I began writing so long ago as an awkward teenager myself. She has left the nest and is out in the cruel world for (select) people to review, judge, improve, speak into, etc. But it feels good. There are many changes that will be made I know. But for now, she is who she is...And it's a part of me that I have protected and grown. So, here she is...Introducing...

Included are 3 pages of photos that are completely self-indulgent - dream cast includes David Phelps (need those vocals!), Reese Witherspoon and Anthony Hopkins! Anyone have a few million I can borrow?! Jesus (bottom right pic) says he will appear for free! Love HIM!




And finally, the script itself...How I have dreamed of seeing this - off the computer screen and neatly bound. God is so awesome!

In this scene, antagonist Patrick first realizes he might lose the toxic hold he has on Charlene to the much more gentle and compassionate Tony.

But Tony has a past he is trying to forget...

Sozo Conference '08

This gets a big Dan WWWWWOOWWWW... What a weekend! It was awesome, it was awful, it was amazing and it was a wild ride! Talk about a roller coaster. But I learned a lot and grew a lot and I am still processing. The Sozo folks from Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. are gifted teachers and administers of emotional/spiritual healing. I went on Friday to be in the "hot seat" for a Sozo with somoene from the Bethel team. This was good because it gave me a chance to see them in action. I was able to observe how they work, see what I did and did not like in how they did things and decide what to do and not do when we are ministering here. It was very confirming to see that they work very similarly to how we do on our Sozo team. YAY! And now, a few pictures from the trip. First of all, I needed a travelling companion. I enjoy listening to Alan Alda's podcast 'Clear and Vivid' . At the end of every episode he asks his guest seven quick questions. Here are my answers: 1. What do you wish you really understood? Why the universe was created in such a way that violent death or death, in general, was required for the sustenance of its living creatures. The food chain - I'm not a fan.... 2.
