As I listened to this song today I was suddenly filled with this great sense of freedom. I was filled with love of the Lord who has loved me without condition. Without strings, has never demanded that I adhere to a particular doctrine to access Him. It is the Jesus I have met time and again when ministering Sozo. The One I have found within a variety of expressions of faith - despite hard-lined theology or the polar opposite. The Holy Spirit works in and through, around and with any tethers that are thrown around the Spirit; Leading, molding, shaping and reconciling. My eyes will be trained on Christ. Not on adhering to doctrines and theologies, though I may study these to indulge my need to study. I understand that these things are not the point...Learning to flow from the love given to me is the point...It also harder than upholding doctrines. I must lean into the teaching of Jesus both from Scripture and within my own spirit as he walks with me through my personal journey.

Sozo Conference '08

This gets a big Dan WWWWWOOWWWW... What a weekend! It was awesome, it was awful, it was amazing and it was a wild ride! Talk about a roller coaster. But I learned a lot and grew a lot and I am still processing. The Sozo folks from Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. are gifted teachers and administers of emotional/spiritual healing. I went on Friday to be in the "hot seat" for a Sozo with somoene from the Bethel team. This was good because it gave me a chance to see them in action. I was able to observe how they work, see what I did and did not like in how they did things and decide what to do and not do when we are ministering here. It was very confirming to see that they work very similarly to how we do on our Sozo team. YAY! And now, a few pictures from the trip. First of all, I needed a travelling companion. I enjoy listening to Alan Alda's podcast 'Clear and Vivid' . At the end of every episode he asks his guest seven quick questions. Here are my answers: 1. What do you wish you really understood? Why the universe was created in such a way that violent death or death, in general, was required for the sustenance of its living creatures. The food chain - I'm not a fan.... 2.
