Seriously?

Three things I was told this week:

1 - I am 'lost' because I don't believe non-Christian religions, homosexuality and adultery (among other things) should be banned in this country (no answer given on how this would be accomplished or what the consequences would be for violating these bans. I was simply told to read the Bible).

2 - All Christians should vote for God's laws only because man's laws are of Satan (never given clarity on what exactly that means).

3 - The reason God created people was to torment the devil (this from a teacher I greatly respect).


Did I wake up on a weird planet last Monday or am I having an extended nightmare?

the first one is scary, and I'm glad an ocean is between those people and me.

The second one makes me wonder what law they mean, if Paul says that the wole law can be summed up in 'Love your neigbor as yourself'...

And the third one, nevermind, I have no words...

My reply to a blog post discussion with an atheist...I was not attempting to convert him. Sozo Conference '08

This gets a big Dan WWWWWOOWWWW... What a weekend! It was awesome, it was awful, it was amazing and it was a wild ride! Talk about a roller coaster. But I learned a lot and grew a lot and I am still processing. The Sozo folks from Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. are gifted teachers and administers of emotional/spiritual healing. I went on Friday to be in the "hot seat" for a Sozo with somoene from the Bethel team. This was good because it gave me a chance to see them in action. I was able to observe how they work, see what I did and did not like in how they did things and decide what to do and not do when we are ministering here. It was very confirming to see that they work very similarly to how we do on our Sozo team. YAY! And now, a few pictures from the trip. First of all, I needed a travelling companion. I enjoy listening to Alan Alda's podcast 'Clear and Vivid' . At the end of every episode he asks his guest seven quick questions. Here are my answers: 1. What do you wish you really understood?
