a sloppy wet kiss

There's a song by John Mark Mcmillan called "How He loves us" ... I love the lyrics...Here is my favorite part...

If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
So Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,

And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,

I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,

When I think about, the way…
He loves us.

How's that for a description of grace?! I'm going skinny dippin!

I totally lose it at that part of the song too, especially when Jon sings it. I don't know why. I think it's just the raw way it's put there.
And, on a lighter note about that song, I asked Jon one time how he sings the sloppy wet kiss without smiling and he said, very seriously, 'it's supposed to make you smile.'
